According to family, Morales had a bad reaction to a new medication. He ended up perched about 10 feet above the sidewalk, naked, raving. To subdue him police tasered him. With complete loss of muscle control Morales tumbled to the concrete and suffered fatal head trauma. The NYPD lieutenant at the scene killed himself within days; the event was the subject of a $10M suit against the city.
