Cause of Death: Shot directly from behind by government suppression forces during protests in Haft Houz Square, Tehran

Cause of Death: Shot directly in the head with live ammunition by government suppression forces on Kashani Street during popular protests. The 17-year-old had told his mother he wore two jackets so that if he was hit by bullets he would only be wounded, but government forces shot him in the head from behind. His father is a veteran of the Iran-Iraq war who had to use his veteran card because authorities refused to return his son’s body. The family remains under security surveillance.

Cause of Death: Kurdish citizen from Saqqez, worker and father of two children. Shot by military-security forces of the Islamic Republic during popular protests in Tehran on 18 Dey 1404, and died the next day in hospital due to severity of injuries.

Cause of Death: Father of two children, retired worker from Hormozgan Steel Industries, originally from Khorramshahr and resident of Isfahan. Disappeared on the evening of January 8, 2026 during protests in Fooladshahr Isfahan. Family searched for him for a week with no official response. Body identified at morgue on January 14, 2026 with severe head trauma and swelling that made identification difficult. Severe injuries indicate extreme violence. Body was hastily buried the next morning by order of authorities with no funeral or mourning ceremonies allowed.

Cause of Death: From Hamadan origin, specifically from Komari village in Malayer, killed in Tehran by Islamic Republic terrorists

Cause of Death: Shot with war bullets by Islamic Republic suppression forces during the Iranian national revolution in Bandar-e Anzali. He was a former player for Malavan youth teams and had recently been accepted in wrestling. He also worked as a hemp craftsman.

Cause of Death: Married young man shot with two bullets – one to the back of the leg and another to the lower abdomen – on Naser Khosro Street at the beginning of Tehran Street in Bandar-e Anzali. Died before reaching the hospital.

Cause of Death: Shot directly by Islamic Republic of Iran government forces during protests in Rasht. Security forces prevented her family from holding any funeral ceremonies and her body was buried at dawn around 3 AM without family members present. She was the head of household and had two young daughters. She was a Gilaki citizen from Rasht.

Cause of Death: 44-year-old from Sabzevar in Khorasan Razavi province, resident of Tehran, killed by direct shooting from government suppression forces during popular protests in Mashirieh area
