According to reports, off-duty deputy Matthew John Doss was driving his truck over the speed limit at about 10:30 p.m. when he hit another other in Lincoln Park. Henry Lowe, the front seat passenger in that car, died from his injuries the following day. In April 2017, Doss was charged with reckless driving causing death in connection with the crash.
