Two officers were on an unrelated traffic stop just after midnight when they heard shots fired. A woman flagged them down and was talking about her car in the parking lot of a strip mall. During their conversation, Helen Jones reportedly became non-compliant. She allegedly pointed a gun at the officers, and the officers shot and killed Jones.
