Their life

Hassouneh Salim was a Palestinian freelance photographer for Quds News Network (QNN), a youth-led news agency founded in 2011 that became widely known for its fast social media coverage of escalations in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. Salim contributed to documenting events in Gaza, capturing on-the-ground images that helped convey the realities of the conflict to both local and international audiences.

Hassouneh Salim worked as a freelance photographer with QNN during a period when the network was gaining prominence across social media platforms for its rapid reporting of developments in the Israeli–Palestinian conflict. His work involved photographing protests, airstrikes, and other conflict-related events, often putting him in highly dangerous situations. Salim’s contributions helped QNN become a widely followed media outlet among young Palestinians and those seeking immediate news coverage from the ground. His commitment to documenting the lives and struggles of Palestinians highlighted the role of independent journalists in conflict zones.
