Haroun Jali was a 40-year-old displaced civilian residing in Zamzam Camp, North Darfur, Sudan. He was killed on the evening of January 19, 2022, near Foul Abyad, approximately 7 kilometers west of El Fasher. Haroun was among five displaced individuals from Zamzam Camp who were attacked by armed men while attempting to retrieve stolen livestock. This incident reflects the ongoing violence and insecurity faced by displaced populations in the Darfur region.
