In Chinatown, gang officers reportedly were tracking down a gang member wanted for several weapons violations. A CHP officer pulled over a black Ford Focus. The trooper got out of his other, and the driver quickly took off at a high rate of speed. Police chased after the black Ford, until the driver went against traffic on Stanislaus Street, slamming into a BMW and killing Hannah Pimentel, the woman driving.
