Troopers Michael McKeon and Joseph Yingling pulled over Ashley Marie McDaniel, 21, for equipment and moving violations. During the course of the traffic stop, McDaniel's passenger, Hakim Jackson, 31, allegedly jumped into the driver's seat and tried to flee the scene. Yingling was able to remove the keys from the ignition while fending off an assault from Jackson, and McKeon was able to remove Jackson from the car after he was tasered. He died a short time later.
