Haitham Hani Mubarak was a 16-year-old Palestinian from Abu Falah village near Ramallah who lived with his family in Betunia town. He was an eleventh-grade student at Betunia High School for Boys. On September 8, 2022, Haitham was shot and killed by Israeli soldiers near the entrance of Beitin village in the central West Bank during an alleged attack on Israeli forces.

Haitham Hani Mubarak was born and raised in Abu Falah village, east of Ramallah, but lived with his family in the nearby town of Betunia, west of Ramallah. He was a dedicated eleventh-grade student at Betunia High School for Boys and the only child of his parents. His life was tragically cut short on September 8, 2022, when he was shot dead by Israeli soldiers near the main entrance of Beitin village, close to the Beit El military roadblock.

Israeli reports claimed Haitham attacked soldiers with a hammer before being shot, and a knife was reportedly found in his possession. Following the shooting, the Israeli military sealed off the area, refused to return his body to his family, and carried out widespread searches and closures around nearby Palestinian towns, including Al-Biereh.

Haitham Hani Mubarak was killed on September 8, 2022, after being shot by Israeli soldiers near the main entrance of Beitin village, northeast of Ramallah, in the central West Bank. According to Israeli sources, Haitham allegedly attacked soldiers with a hammer before they opened fire. The soldiers also claimed to have found a knife on him. Following the alleged attack, Israeli forces shot Haitham, inflicting fatal wounds. He died at the scene.
