At Rest

Suicide
Police responded to a report of a car being driven erratically on Interstate 295 in Maine. A state trooper followed the car off the interstate and into Gardiner, where Gyrth Rutan allegedly stepped out and shot himself in the head with a shotgun after being pulled over by the trooper. A dead body was found in the trunk and later identified as Rutan's late girlfriend. She died from blunt force trauma.
This record exists so that Gyrth Rutan, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
