Three Newton police officers arrived at a home at about 9:30 p.m. in response to a 911 call. During an encounter outside the home, two Newton police officers shot and killed Gulia Dale. Police said that a semi-automatic handgun was recovered. Details as to what precipitated the killing were withheld by police.
