Paulo Cesar Alcaraz-Ortiz allegedly was seen driving erratically through the city. Officers said he may have been under the influence of alcohol or drugs. Police began to pursue in Greenfield. The driver entered the 101 Freeway north toward Soledad. Alcaraz drove into a shopping center and rammed a police other. One Greenfield officer and one Soledad officer were injured. He then hit and killed Guadalupe Garcia. Alcaraz was arrested, and police said he will be charged with murder.
