The deputy found a car in the right line of the Road 6, got near to it trying to help. In the car was only Kaufman, with some wounds in his wrist and neck done by himself after he had some issues with his girlfriend. Kaufman abandoned the car but he didn't want to drop the knife and he started walking toward the road. The sheriff asked him to stop, but he didn't. Deputy shot him in the head and stomach.
