At Rest

Suicide
Police said Glenn Southwood's mother called the Pinetop-Lakeside Police Department's non-emergency hotline at 10:12 p.m. to report that her son was intoxicated and had threatened to shoot his wife. The woman said her daughter-in-law might have locked herself in a bathroom. Officers went to a home and spoke with Southwood. He allegedly produced a firearm and started shooting at police, wounding an officer. Police fired back at Southwood, and he ducked into the house and barricaded himself inside. He was found dead when police went into the home.
