At Rest

Less-than-lethal force
With their son at 450 pounds and with a history of mental issues, Shipman's parents called police when he threatened to switch off the power to their house. Police arrived, determined they weren't needed, left, and were called back later in the evening to help transmit Shipman to a local hospital. He became delusional and combative, was tasered twice, and died three days later in the hospital.
This record exists so that Glenn Shipman Jr., and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
