Less-than-lethal force

Glenn D. Norman died after Sgt. Brian Fiene shocked him fifteen times with a Taser. At around 4:30 a.m., Fiene and deputies Sgt. Brian Fiene and deputies Richard Dziadosz, Larry Rutherford and Jamee Watson responded to a caller who said a man had knocked on his door and pushed his way inside when the caller opened it. A struggle reportedly ensued before Norman fled. The deputies found Norman in an adjacent yard. Norman allegedly resisted when the deputies attempted to take him into custody. After Fiene used his Taser, Norman stopped breathing and died. In 2014, Camden County paid $1 million to Norman's family to settle a wrongful death suit.
