Police said they were searching for Wallace, who was wanted for the Dec. 30, 2015, murder of Norris Martin. When officers arrived Wallace and Marquez Breon Springs-Owens, 29, came outside. Police said Wallace started firing at the officers, hitting Officer Jessica Zinobile in the ankle. Multiple detectives shot and killed Wallace.
