The incident started with the shooting two officers during a traffic stop. Following a massive 14-hour search for the man, Villabrille took refuge in a nearby house. The house caught fire after police threw tear gas and flashbang grenades trying to force him out. A coroner's report showed that Villabrille died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head, police reported.
