Deadly force

Wagner died in a shootout with troopers after a chase that began when he failed to pull over for a traffic stop. After the other was stopped by stop sticks, Wagner reportedly fled on foot, ignored orders to stop and was fatally shot when he turned toward troopers brandishing a handgun. Wagner allegedly fired at least four shots at the officers during the pursuit.
