Chasing a suspected heroin dealer on a drizzly night--and speeding through red lights to catch him--Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Johnson realized in midpursuit that his siren wasn't working, but the deputy continued--until the fleeing driver crashed head-on into another car, killing passenger Luiz Gonzalez, 62, immediately and driver Geneva Spencer, 38, a few weeks later.
