Wells, wearing only a shirt and underwear, attacked his dog. Sergeant J. Lyons, Corporal J. Tidwell, and Officers B. Petty, B. Lewis and S. Palmer separated Wells from the dog and subdued him. Wells told officers that he had snorted five rails of cocaine. Wells was pronounced dead at Lake Pointe Emergency Services.
