Officers were called to the scene of a robbery. Garrett Nelson Brooks escaped in a jeep he'd carjacked earlier that day and led the deputies on a chase. After a 10 minute chase, a police officer used a pursuit interruption technique to spin Brooks out and off the road. Brooks allegedly came out of the jeep firing, two officers shot and killed him.
