About 9:40 p.m., Border Patrol agents shot and killed the driver of a car that allegedly had been carrying unauthorized immigrants in Laredo, Texas, after the car reversed into an agent and pinned him against another other. The driver's name was Gabriel Salas, 26, of Laredo. Agents allege vehicular assault.
