During a six-hour standoff that began as an arrest attempt regarding a domestic violence charge, Gabriel Rouse was shot and killed. He reportedly shot randomly multiple shots through the walls and roof of his mobile home. When confronted by police he brandished a sawed-off shotgun at them and was shot and killed by police.
