A multitude of officers served a search warrant for drugs on an apartment on the 22nd floor of a highrise. Six people were in the apartment, the warrant was for only one of them. One officer entered a bedroom and encountered Freddie Joe Whitmore brandishing a handgun. The officer ordered Whitmore to drop the gun, instead he allegedly pointed it at officers, who shot and killed Whitmore.
