Officers Heidi Grawe, Wyatt Heyvaert and Jerome A. Thomas arrested Fred C. Teague after he allegedly tried to burglarize the Hired Gun Tattoo Shop on Nov. 13, 2005. Teague became unresponsive during the arrest and remained comatose until his death on December 10, 2007. A wrongful death lawsuit contended that the officers caused the coma because of how they restrained Teague. The suit was reportedly dismissed because the parties settled.
