Less-than-lethal force

According to police, Lee appeared to be intoxicated. During the arrest, Lee was sprayed with pepper spray. He was taken to the Grady County Detention Center where he was decontaminated from the Pepper Spray and placed in a holding cell. A Grady County Jailer later found Lee unresponsive in the cell. Lee was he was pronounced dead at Grady General Hospital. An autopsy determined Lee died from a preexisting heart condition and that pepper spray did not contribute to his death.
