Olivarez started behaving erratically in the lobby of DePaul Psychiatric Center. Security guards arrested Olivarez. Responding officers put Olivarez in an ambulance. Officers accompanied paramedics to Providence Medical Center, where he continued to struggle until he died in the emergency room. Olivarez was bipolar and known to use marijuana and cocaine.
