A trooper tried to pull over the driver of a white 2003 Ford Ranger that was travelling at 73 mph in a 60 mph zone. The truck turned off of paved Lockridge Road onto unpaved County Road 40 and flipped. The driver, Serna, died. His two companions, 12 and 13, were injured. None of them wore seat belts.
