Wearing only boxer shorts Boseman encountered several officers on a major road, near a motel parking lot. Those officers removed him from the road and handcuffed him during an undescribed struggle. He died as a direct result. Although not tasered his death was put down to "excited delirium," cocaine use, and obesity.
