Deadly force
Witnesses called police and reported that someone was firing a gun at a group of teenagers. When Officer Timothy Bundy arrived, he saw Walter Villanueva shooting at a house. Villanueva attempted to flee in a car as Bundy fired one shot, which hit and killed Hindman, who sitting in the front seat of Villanueva's other. Villanueva was later tried and sentenced to 39 years to life for the killing.
