Deadly force
Officers pursued Elliot Lewis in an hour-long, high-speed chase across the Houston area. He reportedly made phone calls to dispatch during the chase, which started near the Texas Medical Center/OST area about 11 a.m. Police cornered him in a parking lot after intentionally crashing into his other. Lewis allegedly jumped out and started firing an AR-15 rifle at officers. Four officers shot and killed him.
