Eliot Sander Sacks of Littleton, Colo., was wanted on a 2002 grand-larceny charge in Tennessee. Sacks' other, a 1985 Saab, was found parked at the rest stop off Interstate 64. Trooper Gary R. Horner Jr., 28, shot and killed him during a gunfight. Horner was wounded.
