Fremont police found a stolen car sought in connection with multiple armed robberies in Fremont and around the Bay Area, police said. When two detectives tried to stop the car at City View Apartment Homes, its driver rammed a detective's car. Police shot and killed the passenger, Elena "Ebbie" Mondragon.
