Deputies were responding to a home in east Mesa where an armed suicidal man had allegedly fired a weapon. Police said Rudhman confronted deputies, who shot and killed him when he walked towards them with his revolver lowered. Officers then cleared a nearby RV of two parents and two children and held the whole family at gunpoint with hands up against a garage door.
