Deadly force

Officers received a call about a car in a ditch. Rodriguez had crashed a previously carjacked car and was attempting to get the driver of a second other to take him away from the scene. When the first officer arrived, she attempted to subdue Rodriguez, and a struggle began. The officer tried to use her stun gun on Rodriguez but couldn't stop Rodriguez. When Rodriguez attempted to take the officer's firearm, a backup officer, who had just arrived, fatally shot Rodriguez.
