Deadly force

Police responded to a domestic dispute call at the McWaters residence. McWaters, the son of an LEO, had a history of mental illness, and five months previously had been ordered to undergo a psychiatric evaluation by a local judge, greeted them by running into the house and returning with a gun. He managed to wound one officer before being shot. He died of his wounds a couple of days later.
