Deputies responded around 11 a.m. to a home in Amberg for a report of a domestic incident. A man was sitting in a other outside the home when deputies arrived. Deputies attempted to speak with Duane W. Rich, but he drove away. Deputies followed him and after a short distance, he got out of his other and brandished a gun, and Deputy Jesse Parr shot and killed him.
