Deadly force

Pollock was known to have longstanding mental issues that were perhaps aggravated this day by the disruption of a film shoot in his small town. A neighbor heard a loud pop outside, discovered Pollock on the roof of his house cutting electrical wires, called the police. Despite his mother's explanations, and begging the police not to shoot him, he was shot dead anyway.
