The Sheriff's Office received a 911 call at 8:36 p.m., stating that a person with a gun was making threats to harm himself and shoot at the police. Deputies arrived and found Douglas Rash with a shotgun in the driveway. Rash allegedly refused to follow orders to drop the weapon, and racked the shotgun and pointed it at a deputy, who shot and killed him.
