Less-than-lethal force

Douglas Boucher. Stopped at a gas station for a drink, officers were asked by the clerk to talk to Boucher who she said was harassing her. Officers got one handcuff on Boucher, when he allegedly hit them. He was tasered and beaten with batons, then stopped breathing. CPR was tried, but Boucher died at the hospital. The coroner said he died of a skull fracture, when falling forward after being tasered.

Why we remember them

This record exists so that Douglas “Doug” Boucher, and all who are named in this archive, are never reduced to a number.
