Deadly force

Police conducting drug surveillance near the Hilliard Towers Housing development approached a suspicious group in the parking lot. The subject ran to a nearby playground. Officers tried to grab him but the subject allegedly fired twice, grazing an officer on the side of the head. He fired two more shots, an officer returned fire and hit him. He staggered and was shot again, dying at the scene.
