Police responded to a 3 a.m. call concerning a man who was shooting at mailboxes and into the air and at the house of a neighbor. On police arrival, the subject went into his house and refused to come out. Officers fired tear gas grenades into the home. When he finally emerged, he pointed a gun at police and was shot dead.
