Police responded to a domestic disturbance during which Diamonte Riviore reportedly took a woman hostage. The woman let them in the apartment, and three officers encountered Riviore brandishing a knife in the attached bathroom. Two officers tasered Riviore to no effect. The third officer then shot and killed Riviore.
