Officers shot and killed a passenger in a other, Devon Tilman Gregory, who became agitated during a traffic stop about 10:40 p.m. Officers, who initially pulled over the car with three people inside for failing to maintain a single lane, reportedly tried to deescalate the situation, but after several minutes of trying to talk with the passenger who refused to comply with demands to get out of the car, four officers shot and killed him. The death was ruled a suicide.
