Police responded around 2:30 a.m. to the Budget Inn in Okmulgee for a disturbance call. Police say they found a man who was threatening suicide and had a knife to his throat. Officers reportedly told the man to drop the knife, but he did not comply and advanced on officers who shot and killed him.
