Police said an Oak Park resident reported their 1999 Saturn stolen about 11:40 p.m. Officers saw the car parked four or five blocks away on Morton and approached on foot. The driver, 15-year-old Desean Murrell Fant, reportedly fled and police gave chase. Fant lost control of the car and hit a tree and a parked car near where the pursuit started. Fant died at the scene. A passenger, also 15, was slightly injured, police said.
