Deadly force
Derryl LeFave, 32, and Kristopher Cheyne, 36, led officers on a high speed chase after allegedly robbing a bank in Ravenna, MI at gunpoint. Police reported the suspects were firing live rounds at them during the chase. LeFave and Cheyne crashed their other on an I-96 off-ramp after striking and killing Wyoming Police Officer Trevor Slot, 41. LeFave and Cheyne were killed by police after exiting the other and firing upon them.
