Officers responded to a disturbance call. Upon arrival Officers were met on scene by Derrick James Miller's family members. They reported to officers that Miller was acting strangely inside of the home destroying personal property. Officers entered the home and observed toppled and broken furniture to include household property. Officers found Miller in a dry bathtub in underwear and was secured without incident. He complained that he was having difficulty breathing, and medics were called, and Miller died.
