Deron A. Phillips was killed in a crash while fleeing from police. The SUV he was in reportedly ran two red lights and sped into oncoming traffic just before hitting another car head-on and rolling several times. Phillips was killed instantly. Another occupant in the SUV, John Martin, 20, was hospitalized in serious condition with head injuries.
